Program Director: Provide effective and efficient operations for KIRMA, planning and coordination of program activities and their implementation in the State. To ensure the enforcement of all environmental legislation and regulations is undertaken in a professional and effective manner in the protection of the environment and natural resources of the State of Kosrae.
Environmental Education Coordinator: Conduct education and information sessions in the area of environment conservation and importance of maintaining natural resources and sustainable resources for future generations. Coordinate with the wider community of Kosrae on important international environment days, which promote environmental protection of sustainable resources. Develop information sessions for radio broadcast on environmental issues and other relevant matters as it relates to KIRMA’s duties and roles.
Project Coordinator: Provide advice and assistance where necessary in the area of enforcement of legislation and regulations as they relate to environment issues. Conduct inspections on existing projects ensuring compliance with recommendations and terms of permit issues. Supervisors staff members as they perform their duties as they relate to the environment and requirements of KIRMA.
Assistant Coordinator: Provide assistance in facilitation consultation, education and awareness in the importance of environment conservation. Assist in the implementation of programs ensuring compliance with donor organization.
State Forester: Provide effective and efficient operations for KIRMA forestry unit, planning and coordination of program activities and their implementation in the State. Ensure the enforcement of all environmental legislation and regulations is undertaken in a professional and effective manner in the protection of the environment and natural resources of the State of Kosrae. Ensure the protection of the forest, mangrove and watershed areas within the state.
Assistant State Forester: Assist in providing effective and efficient operations for KIRMA forestry unit, assist in the planning and coordination of program activities and their implementation whiten the State. Assist in the enforcement of all environmental legislation and regulations are undertaken in a professional and effective manner in the protection of the environment and natural resources of the State of Kosrae. Assist in the protection of the forest, mangrove and watershed areas within the state.
GIS Officer: Ensure maintenance of records and files as they relate to data input in to the Geographical Information System. Update the GIS on a regular bases, ensuring new data collected is correct. Collection of data deemed to be necessary for GIS to be updated. Assist with the beach profiling data collection project.
Project Inspector: Ensure maintenance of records and files as they relate to permits and cease and desist orders. Enforce legislation and regulations ensuring compliance to recommendations and terms of permits issued for projects to be undertaken. Conduct investigations as they relate to the damage or destruction of the environment in accordance with relevant laws.
Nursery Aide: Ensure the protection of forest species by the collection of seeds, cuttings for tree farming, identify invasive species and the impact on the forests, undertake monitoring and assessment of projects sites. Provide assistance to community groups in the provision of appropriate seedlings for the community needs and environment. Undertake monitoring of plant growth and plant inventory.
Marine Surveillance Supervisor: Provide effective and efficient operations for Marine Surveillance by enforcing the provisions of the Marine Resources Act 2000 and FSM National Code and assist in the management of the Division to ensure the protection of the State Fishing waters and the protection of the marine and natural resources.
Fisheries Specialist: Provide effective and efficient operations for Marine Surveillance by enforcing the provisions of the Marine Resources Act 2000 and FSM National Code and assist in the management of the Division to ensure the protection of the State Fishing waters and the protection of the marine and natural resources.

Administrator HPO: Provide effective and efficient operations for Historic Preservation Division (HPO), planning and coordination of program activities and their implementation in the State in accordance with federal grants. Ensure education and awareness of the importance of historic preservation is undertaken by the divisional officers. To ensure the enforcement of legislation as it relates to preservation of historic property is undertaken in a professional and effective manner.
Archaeological Field Supervisor: Provide effective management of historic sites, maintain archaeological data collection, compile files of new sites of historical interest and ensure assistance is provided to persons interested in historic sites and preservation, implement programs activities in education and awareness of the importance of historic preservation. Ensure the enforcement of legislation as it relates to preservation of historic property is undertaken in a professional and effective manner. Provide supervision of staff members.
Information Specialist (HPO): Ensure the effective management of video documentation, undertake maintenance of video and audio documentation products ensuring stability, undertake post production work on videos, ensure data base relating to documentation is maintained and undertake community education programs in the area of video documentation awareness.
